Methodology

In order to tap from the 6 AU Regions especially the 6th Region, IRMA decided to partner with existing networks in the nomination process, the IRMA technical team would work with different networks and from 2022 with ADDI Chapters to short list identify trail blazers in different fields at country level including the Diaspora to identify nominees for the Global Award. In addition to ADDI and 400YOUR, IRMA will work with other networks in the continent such as, the African Women Foundation (AFFRO), the James Makamba Foundation, IBBAMO, the African Centre for Empowerment, Gender and Advocacy and the South to South Foundation among others to expand its list of men and women of African descent from within and out of the continent.
